HOLIDAY COCKTAIL PARTY!
SweetGrass Capital's is hosting Going Places in a holiday cocktail party! Last year, they had over 200 guests and we expect this year to be even bigger!!!! They have pulled out ALL the stops and you WON'T want to miss it!! Plus, this open to the public party will benefit Going Places!
Top shelf open bar, light snacks, Saluda Shoals will be performing all night, Santa (because adults never get to take pics with Santa), and MORE SURPRISES! Donations made at the event will be matched, dollar for dollar by SweetGrass Capital!!

~this is an outdoor event in a tent, pls dress accordingly Exciting childcare opportunity for the event!! The indoor playground/parents club/childcare facility, Skip and Sully in Mt Pleasant is offering childcare during the event!
~$40 for the first child, $20 for the second and free for the 3rd child
~Ages 2+ only ~From that fee, Skip and Sully will donate 25% back to Going Places!!
~There will be a holiday pajama night for the kids with a themed craft and snack for the Little Ones
~Offer runs 7:30pm-11:30pm

The money raised at this event will help buy the 500 bikes needed for EVERY child who attends Sanders-Clyde Elementary!

June 20, 2018 — The Shelter Kitchen + Bar teamed up with New Belgium Brewing to raffle off a Limited Editon New Belgium Bike that Going Places' dear friend, local Charleston Realtor, Jon Stroud, had previously won. New Belgium donated beer for The Shelter to sell, proceeds going to Going Places and getting you a ticket to enter to win the bike! Monday, February 26th, starting at 5 p.m., Sorghum & Salt will be hosting Going Places in a fundraising dinner; Chef Tres Jackson of Sorghum & Salt is partnering up with Chef Nate Whiting of Juliet, to create 10 signature dishes and two dim sum items!
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! There will also be a special dish, spicy Heritage Foods pork ragu, house made spaghetti, collard kimchi, and Parmesan, that will be available on the menu at Sorghum & Salt for all of February, with the proceeds benefitting Going Places!!
With this ongoing campaign, Chef Jackson and Chef Whiting will be helping to purchase 300 bikes, made by Affordabike, locks, and helmets for the surprise bike reveal at Mt. Zion Elementary School on May 1st!!!!
