On June 6 2019, all 425 disadvantaged kids who attend Sanders-Clyde Elementary, located in downtown Charleston, will be surprised with new, custom bikes! Many of these kids live in very unpredictable home lives and these bikes, along with Mayor Tecklenburg's bike path initiative, they will have a safe way to escape and decompress, even if for a few hours, around the peninsula.
